The CFAES Ag-Lympics is a new event to our campus this year, but it is
not completely new.The idea is based on the Agriculture and Natural Resources Council Olympics from the 1990's and early 2000's, but the events and organization of the event
have been completely updated. The Ag-Lympics was once a regular program within our college, but died off a little over five years ago. Through the efforts of nine members of CFAES Student Council, the event will be revived later this month. The 2009 version of the games will feature
a total of ten events spanning a total of three hours on Friday, May 29. Participation
and competition will both be extremely high, as eighteen teams vie for the title of
CFAES Grand Champion.
